Refrigerated logistics is a brutal energy bill — compressors running day and night. Lone Star's 65,000 sq ft roof was doing nothing. We fitted an 820 kWp array matched to their daytime compressor load, then added a 400 kWh battery to shave the evening peak and carry critical loads through outages. The site now self-supplies more than two-thirds of its electricity and has fixed the price of most of the rest for 25 years.
“We'd been quoted by two national firms who never climbed the roof. Meridian surveyed everything, modeled it honestly, and hit the yield they promised in year one. The battery paid for itself the first time the grid went down mid-shift.”
